Aims

The Journal of Clinical and Basic Research (JCBR), an official publication of the Golestan University of Medical Sciences, is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access, multidisciplinary journal. The primary aim of JCBR is to disseminate high-quality, rigorous scientific research that bridges the gap between fundamental biomedical sciences and clinical practice. The journal is dedicated to publishing comprehensive studies covering all major aspects of human diseases, from underlying molecular mechanisms to direct clinical applications. A core objective of JCBR is to ensure the rapid and efficient peer-review and publication process, thereby accelerating the global dissemination of critical scientific findings without compromising academic rigor. The journal specifically encourages the submission of original research articles, in vivo studies, review articles, case reports, short communications, systematic reviews and/or meta-analyses, editorial notes, letters, and brief reports that offer novel insights into disease pathology, management, and patient outcomes. Furthermore, JCBR strongly welcomes in vitro and ex vivo investigations that demonstrate clear translational potential and direct relevance to clinical medicine.

Scope

The scope of JCBR encompasses a comprehensive range of biomedical, translational, and clinical disciplines. The journal accepts a variety of manuscript types, including original research articles, comprehensive review articles, clinical trials, epidemiological studies, case reports, and letters to the editor. Manuscripts submitted to JCBR must present robust scientific methodology and align with one or more of the following core subject areas:
